We all have a set routine which we follow every day and have gotten used to over time, almost like muscle memory. One of the daily tasks we perform is brushing our teeth, which blocks about five to ten minutes of our mornings and evenings to ensure we maintain healthy oral hygiene. The traditional method of brushing requires us to brush every tooth one at a time until each tooth is clean, but this method has remained stagnant since the first bristle toothbrush was invented in China in 1498. The toothbrush has evolved from its original design but pretty much still following the same principle.

Even after the evolution of the toothbrush, problems we face using the traditional method seem endless as most toothbrush only clean about 40% to 80% of the mouth. Despite their elementary form, these brushes are surprisingly difficult to use, as most people do not follow the dentist recommended techniques of brushing. Examples of improper brushing include people brushing too soft, too hard, or not long enough, which leaves their teeth covered in cariogenic plaque causing severe tooth and gum damage. Nevertheless, the UNOBRUSH has basically reinvented the toothbrush to meet the needs of the 21st-century eliminating the problems faced by the traditional method.
