In the wake of a loved one’s passing, there is a unique way to preserve the memory even long after they’ve passed. There is a company called LifeGem®(based in Illinois) that will take samples of remaining ashes or even hair, and compress them into a synthetic diamond to be set inside jewelry in memory of a loved one. The diamonds are required however to undergo a 4-step creation process before release. Carbon capture, purification, diamond creation and lastly diamond certification.
