Jennifer Burrows, a 26-year-old assistant pathologist in Jackson County, was accused of having intercourse with more than 60 bodies between the ages of 17 and 71. This particular case stems from the birth of her child, whose father happens to be one of her deceased patients.
The supposed father was a veteran from Texas who died after a fatal car accident while passing through Kansas City. The child was allegedly conceived while Burrows was performing the autopsy. Acts of necrophilia are directly related to insanity and psychosis, making it harder than it needs to be to incriminate these inhumane acts. In the United States today there is no federal legislature protecting the sanctity or sexuality of the dearly departed.
In fact, in Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and North Carolina it is illegal for consenting gay and lesbian couples to engage in oral or anal sex. However, they remain silent regarding the indictment of necrophilia raising the question, “Who do you have to screw around here to get some justice?”
