Need new glass wear? Well, you’re in luck. All you need is a six-pack and a Kinkajou.

No, not the cute, little furry kinkajou from Central and South America, I’m talking about the cool and easy to use tool that cuts your bottles after a weekend you don’t remember – The Kinkajou Bottle Cutter.

If you are a do-it-yourself addict or a DIY newbie, the Kinkajou Bottle Cutter is a tool you will want to have in your toolbox or craft room.

The simple look of the design doesn’t do the device justice, but it certainly makes it easy enough for anyone to use. The Kinkajou is hand held, and easily adjustable, allowing you to cut a wide variety of bottle sizes, and making it more fun and versatile.

To compliment the versatility, inventor of the Kinkajou Bottle Cutter, Patrick Lehoux created Jabiru Bottle Top Stem and Firefly Pendant Light Kit.

Named after yet another South American animal, the Jabiru bottle top stem turns bottle tops into fancy drinking glasses. After noticing that he was throwing a majority of his bottle tops away, Lehoux invented the Jabiru. The stem is designed to fit about 90-95% of bottles – turning just about every bottle into a perfect margarita glass (or wine glass!). In the video below, Lehoux tells us why he decided to invent Jabiru, and how to use it. Get read to bring Sunday fun day to your house!

Now, I thought the Jabiru Bottle Stem was cool, but then I saw this little gadget and it’s just as awesome. The Firefly LED Pendant Light Kit was born after Lehoux was inspired by videos that were sent in by customers. The videos were showing Lehoux how they were upcycling by using their Kinkajou Bottle Cutter. Wanting to show his appreciation and make it that much easier for his loyal fans, Lehoux came up with the handy dandy Firefly kit. In the video below, Lehoux explains what comes with the kit, why he chose to make it LED, and why he decided to invent that little silicone contraption to go along with it. This guy thinks of everything!

This gadget is pretty darn nifty. It promotes creating something cool out of your recycling (upcycling), and it’s a really fun way to have an arts and crafts night with friends and family.

Not only that, you can literally go grab a six-pack of your favorite beer and have new glasses or lights the next day. Who would have thought you could save money by drinking? Know more.
