Combs was referring to his new sneakers by designer Jon Buscemi, a hot luxury shoe brand that no one can get access to unless, of course, they happen to be obnoxiously wealthy.
At a cost of $1000 per pair (give or take a couple hundred, depending on the model), only those rolling thick wads of dough can spare the bread for Buscemi leather.
Buscemi only uses Vachetta leather lined with calf skin and finished with an 18K gold plated lock in the spirit of the Hermès Birkin bag that inspired the designer to launch the new shoe line.
Wish you could have a pair? Buscemi says the shoes are not available to just “anyone that wants them.” Well, you may have trouble finding these at your local mall, but, actually, they are available to anyone with an Internet connection thanks to his online store. I guess, technically, that’s not just “anyone”.
