The mad scientists at the University of Washington have been running experiments that have successfully enabled a person to control another person’s body over the Internet. It sounds too easy to be true.

In one location, computational neuroscientist Rajesh Rao wore a special cap connected to a computer, and sat in a chair playing a simple video that consisted of simply pressing a button to fire a cannon. It another location within the campus, Professor Andrea Stocco wore the same cap, and played the same game but did not see or hear the game. But his hand was on the button that enable Rao to play the game. Well, when Rao finally thought about pressing the button, he didn’t, but his thought traveled through the Internet to Stocco’s mind. Stocco pressed the button to fire the cannon.

Sure, it sounds like madness, but you’ve got to admit, this is pretty cool… and madness. Pure madness. Know more.
